Ingredients:
Green peas-1/2 cup
Potatoes (medium)-2(cut into cubes)
Onion (medium)-4
Cinnamon stick-3 inch piece
Cloves-11
Coriander leaves-2 fist
Redchillies-6
Salt-to taste
Oil-for deep frying+2tbsp.
Small lemon size tamarinds (soak in ½ cup of hot water and extract pulp).
Pre-process:
Cut each onion into 8 pieces and boil it in water for a minute, so that onions will not turn bitter.
Make a paste out of cinnamon stick, onions, cloves, redchillies and coriander leaves.
Boil raw green peas or you can use frozen green peas.
Procedure:
Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry potato pieces till golden brown.
Heat 2tbsp of oil in a pan and add masala paste which we made earlier and fry for 2 minutes.
Add greenpeas, fried potato, turmeric, salt, curryleaves, tamarind extract and mix well.
Keep lid and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Serving ideas:
Goes well with puri and chapathi.

As much as the focus here is on the curry, I like your puri!
